Enduring it All Alone

Accepting a problem turned taboo

A person may find himself or herself in a position where they are helpless when it’s a situation where we either see clearly or not. The mind is made up but they are alone, so what does the person do? They stand up, all alone, they take the risk of standing alone and enduring the hardships that come along it. A person’s biggest fear is to be alone, especially in a time where they need strong support to back them up, to lift them. But the reality is, one really can’t expect to be surrounded by their well-wishers all the time. And the problem with these upcoming generations is that they are spoon-fed. They don’t know how to find ways for themselves or for that matter, even create a new one. A lot of us might be facing this problem on how to stand alone and take control of the situation when the world is a real war-zone. And the answer lies within ourselves.

Taking that leap of faith

Humans were blessed with the heart and mind, heart to keep us emotionally warm and the mind to keep us defensively cold. But at times we start to go numb, we fear going outside, we make up the worst-case scenarios in our minds and we are always in a fight or flight mode, but the only horror that we carry in ourselves and what we believe at all times is that we’d end up lying on the ground vulnerable. A wise woman was too in this situation, how did she overcome it? It’s the fear that helped her beat fear. She too dreaded getting out of the bed as many of us do, we keep ourselves wrapped in the cocoons of our safe zone but we often forget that the little caterpillar has to come out to become the beautiful butterfly it was destined to be. So she stood up in horror, and the only thought that came to her mind was –“I’m ready to face whatever comes my way “. She told herself that if the worst possible case scenario was to come, she would face it so that she could fight it and say that yes she has done it. And since then she never looked back. Because it wasn’t as bad as it seemed.

Change is good, let it be

Once we become determined to achieve something, and ready to take control of our actions, we’ll never be afraid to stand alone. One must let themselves go to the most vulnerable points, so that they understand the depths of their self and find the inner flame that powers them to the core. And instead of running, again and again, the glimpses of the worst-case scenario it would be a whole lot better if we could just for once think of the possible best-case scenario because it gives us strength and it powers our will. And the courage to stand alone is a powerful tool in itself that can help us smoothen our rough edges. And when we do that, we tend to learn things on our own, we master it, it makes us smarter, more independent, and more fearless and changes the way we see things around ourselves.

Love thy neighbor

We get a chance to learn more about our selves and love the way we are because we see the sound-self. That person is no longer afraid to take chances and risks, and paves their path and becomes strong. The person becomes a source of inspiration for others, a rock, and a ray of light in a dark tunnel. And one might not realize it but we’re not alone, cause a person who has been alone understands what it’s like to be and would recognize an enduring person from far, and might be secretly guarding over them so that they reach back safely to where they belong, their self. And if we can too, we shouldn’t let go of the chance of being a guardian to someone on need. Be the person you needed when you were alone and vulnerable.
